Showy, long-lived, sun-loving, and versatile sum up this. A profusion of large, single white flowers with bright yellow centers appear on stems 36 inches above the dense, green clumping foliage. Flower heads hold up extremely well after a heavy rain. 
This selection blooms abundantly from summer to fall if deadheaded.  It's perfect as a cut flower.

Lacy, lavender-blue, and pincushion-like flowers 2 inches in diameter appear atop  12 to 15-inch tall stems on this airy and ground cover-type perennial from late spring to early fall. Dainty and gray-green foliage is borne on a  mounded rosette that grows 6 to 8 inches tall and 12 to 15 inches wide. Blooms repeatedly through the season if regularly deadheaded. It excels in  the border, rock gardens, and as a cut flower. Butterflies love it. Selected  by the Perennial Plant Association as perennial of the year in 2000.

Dusty plum red foliage creates a nice contrast.

This excellent cultivar is a tremendous improvement over the species. The leaves are twice as big as the species and it rarely blooms. It is a clump former, and quickly will grow to cover a 3' wide area. The fuzzy silver leaves are an excellent contrast and its low habit make it a great plant for the front of the perennial border. Holds up very well
in hot humid summers. Best in full sun with well-drained soils.

Breathtaking blooms, a clean habit, and stunning looks make this improved veronica  selection a landscape must. Unlike other types, 'Royal Candle' has deep green  foliage that does not die out. A summer-long profusion
of candle-like tapers  of violet-blue flowers add to the package. Mature plant height is 15 to 18  inches. This speedwell prefers part to full sun, and is hardy from zones 4 to  8.

Sunny locations.  Keep well watered  Tolerates road salt and urban pollution.
